Community Spotlight: A Sunny Day for Touch-A-Truck in Downtown Batavia

TWO MEN AND A JUNK TRUCK® made their debut at the Batavia Park District’s annual Touch-A-Truck event this past May, and it was a great time! In fact, we can’t wait until next year!

The kids (and a few adults, too) had a great time checking out the cab and pretending to haul away junk. We were in great company, which included a tow truck, police vehicles – including an armored S.W.A.T. wagon - and a fire truck. And of course, our sister company, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK were there, too; always a big hit with the crowd! 

The morning started with a sensory-friendly session; during the first forty five minutes, loud noises and honking were avoided, making it a more inclusive experience. When the clock struck and honking was allowed, the kids enjoyed acting out driving scenarios (kids love a good horn!). With the weather full cooperation, it was a beautiful day in Downtown Batavia, IL. We're looking forward to the next Touch-A-Truck event!
