How our donations work

Here's the thing about how we give back: it's not just writing a check after a good job. We help the way we know how by cleaning up after a job. When a local organization needs a donation, we show up as soon as possible. Sometimes that means moving donated furniture into a family's first apartment. It means dropping off the help that makes someone's whole life story happen.

The KidsFirst coat drive

For KidsFirst, we donated 10 large wardrobe boxes the tall ones with the rods built in. The kind you'd use to hang clothes during a move. For them, those boxes meant they could actually sort, store, and hand out the coats instead of stacking them in a corner. 

Crystal Jaimes from KidsFirst put it better than we ever could: "These boxes will make all the difference in keeping local kids and families warm this winter."

That's why we do this.

Why it matters?

A coat drive doesn't work if the coats have nowhere to go. Because of this, a family doesn't get back on their feet if the furniture sits in a warehouse. Our part is small, but it's the part that makes the rest possible. We're proud to partner with organizations like KidsFirst, and we're always looking for the next one.
