Supporting The Community Through Landfill Diversion
At TWO MEN AND A JUNK TRUCK, we strive to minimize landfill use by recycling, upcycling, or donating gently used items to local Charlotte charities whenever possible. By limiting landfill trips to necessity, we promote responsible disposal practices throughout the Charlotte Metro area and North Carolina. We support several local non-profit groups that helps with our goal of landfill diversion:
TVs, computers, monitors, etc., all go to BlueSky Solutions and Goodwill.
Clothes and small appliances go to Crisis Assistance Ministry and Dress for Success.
Furniture goes to Habitat for Humanity and Furnishings for Good.
Office Chairs go to Classroom Central .
Scrap Metal gets donated to support the Fort Mill Band Association.
Large Tires go to Crossfit Groups and F3 Metro.
Pallets and Boxes go to Baby Bundles (for their shipments).
New mattresses go to Roof Above.
