In 2024, we had the opportunity to expand our services and dive into an exciting journey by taking on a new service and brand in the Alexandria, Virginia area. Our owners were born and raised in Alexandria, VA and were excited to expand their footprint on this needed service in our area. Some of our main values are to donate and reuse, where we can, anything that comes off disposal, as landfill diversion is our motto.
Meet Yancy, One of Our Leaders
Our Alexandria Junk crew lead, Yancy, is a great example of a leader. He is amazing at helping customers with any projects they have from playset removals, shed destruction, and hot tub removals, to smaller projects like removing an old mattress or couch. He is exceptional with customers and makes sure they are taken care of. He is great about accommodating and giving customers disposal options. His caring and friendly qualities aid his genuine commitment to making sure every one of our customers is happy.
Helping Customers Through Difficult Moments
One of our favorite days on the job was when we were able to help a customer whose father had recently passed away. This was a sensitive job and we were grateful for the opportunity to provide compassion while also bringing some positivity and laughter to the day. Even though it was a four man, two truck job, our team created such a warm and welcoming environment where even the customer joined in on the jokes and laughter. She even mentioned how much the day turned around for her, which made this job especially meaningful for our team.
