Junk Removal Manager

You will travel locally with an awesome team to help customers create space for opportunity by saying “goodbye” to their unwanted junk. The Junk Removal Manager is responsible for carrying out the day-to-day junk service activities, maintaining excellent customer service, optimizing resources, and managing a team of drivers and junk removal specialists.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead, train, and manage a team of drivers and junk removal specialists to ensure excellent service delivery
  • Conduct on-site assessments to accurately evaluate the volume, type, and cost of junk for removal
  • Utilize your sales skills to convert inquiries into on-site sales
  • Actively pursue new business opportunities through effective lead generation, prospecting, and networking
  • Safely operate a junk removal truck, perform truck inspections, and secure the truck at the end of each job
  • Deliver exceptional customer service as you provide on-site junk removal estimates
  • Utilize safe lifting techniques to remove unwanted items for customers
  • Accurately complete paperwork and payment collection
  • Make product recommendations to customers and upsell services as needed
Who We’re Looking For
  • We hire for attitude and train for skill; however, experience in general labor positions such as truck driving, construction, landscaping, or warehouse helpful.
  • Proven experience in operations management, logistics, warehouse, or a similar role (preferably within the junk removal, logistics, or moving industry)
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with fleet management and scheduling software
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the junk removal industry
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other relevant software
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Knowledge of recycling and disposal regulations helpful but not required
